Video tutorial for Boutique Sashay Yarn Scarf

First I would like to thank my wonderful and talented sister-in-law, Opal,  for supplying Little Rock Mamas with this awesome scarf tutorial. Opal had given Rebecca one of these scarves for Christmas last year. It was so gorgeous, I asked Opal if she would make one for me. Guess what I received for my birthday this year? A lovely scarf, which matched Rebecca’s and  this totally awesome tutorial to use on Little Rock Mamas. OK, that’s enough of my scarf praise, on to the tutorial. Supply list:

  • 2 skeins of Red Heart Boutique Sashay Yarn
  • Size 8 (5.0 mm) knitting needles (10 or 16 inches long)
  • Sewing needle or machine and matching sewing thread.

It takes about 4 hours to make the long scarf with 2 skeins, casting on 10 stitches.

10 inch needles work best. You can make it with the 16 inch needles but you don’t need the longer ones for the scarf.
Yarn can be found at the following stores: Walmart, Michaels and JoAnn. Opal did such a wonderful job on the videos, I think I might try to make one myself.
