I turned the big 40 in October.
Turning 40 didn’t faze me at all. I felt the same, looked the same and acted the same. Other than hearing the number out loud, I could care less.
Then came the gray hair. I’ve had a few stands of gray for the last couple of years. No big deal, I just covered them up with highlights. Then I met Brittany with Hair by Brittany. She talked me into trying a darker color with some highlights mixed in. At first I didn’t care for it, but then my dark locks grew on me.
My last hair appointment was in November. I didn’t notice any gray returning until a couple of weeks ago. Being the thrifty person that I am, I stretched out my next hair appointment as long as I could. Last week I noticed the gray had rapidly started to multiply.
Thankfully my friend Brittany was able to work me in for a much-needed “de-graying.”
