Today’s viral video is of a 3-year-old boy being held down by a woman, presumably his mother, while he is given a tattoo. I’ve heard on several sites that it was done for religious purposes; however, I haven’t been able to confirm that. Also, I can’t find any actual news stories on this, so I don’t promise it isn’t a hoax. But its THE video today and I thought it made a good topic for discussion.
What do you think? Is this acceptable parenting? Or would you call it child abuse?
